Due to a recent resignation, there is currently a vacant position on the Board of Directors of the Penrose Water District. If you, or someone you know, are interested in serving on the board, please contact Ron Gasser, District Manager, with a Letter of Interest to serve on the board.

What to know prior to applying:

• Applicant must be an Eligible Elector of the District. An Eligible Elector is a person who is registered to vote in the State of Colorado and either:
  • A resident of the District, or
  • The owner (or the spouse or civil union partner of the owner) of taxable real or personal property situated in the District.
    
    
• Board meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 3:00 pm. The Meetings run approximately 1 – 2 hours; however, this will vary based on the agenda.
  
  
• The Board is representative of the community and oversees policies and finances of the District. Individual board members are not involved in the day-to-day operations of the District.
  
  
• In your Letter of Interest, be sure to include at least the following information:
  • Your contact information.
  • A brief description of why you feel you would be a good fit to serve on the Board of Directors.
  • Your education and background, specifically that which you feel will further the purpose of the District.
